In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Home Depot ( HD ) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 2.8%. Year to date, Home Depot has lost about 13.0% of its value.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Wal-Mart Stores ( WMT ), trading down 1.4%. Wal-Mart Stores is showing a gain of 7.6% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Exxon Mobil ( XOM ), trading down 1.2%, and Visa ( V ), trading up 2.5% on the day.
