In early trading on Thursday, shares of Travelers Companies (TRV) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 3.4%. Year to date, Travelers Companies registers a 17.3% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Pfizer (PFE), trading down 1.8%. Pfizer is lower by about 10.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Merck & Co (MRK), trading down 1.3%, and Caterpillar (CAT), trading up 1.9% on the day.
