In early trading on Friday, shares of Intel ( INTC ) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 6.3% after the company raised its Q2 guidance. Year to date, Intel registers a 14.5% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Nike ( NKE ), trading down 1.1%. Nike is lower by about 6.0% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are UnitedHealth Group ( UNH ), trading down 0.9%, and Microsoft ( MSFT ), trading up 1.2% on the day.
