In early trading on Thursday, shares of JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 1.2%. Year to date, JPMorgan Chase has lost about 1.6% of its value.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Merck ( MRK ), trading down 1.1%. Merck is showing a gain of 7.7% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Walt Disney ( DIS ), trading down 0.9%, and Nike ( NKE ), trading up 0.9% on the day.
