In early trading on Monday, shares of General Electric ( GE ) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 2.4%. Year to date, General Electric has lost about 12.3% of its value.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Intel ( INTC ), trading down 2.2%. Intel is showing a gain of 10.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are United Technologies ( UTX ), trading down 0.9%, and Nike ( NKE ), trading up 1.5% on the day.
