In early trading on Friday, shares of Travelers Companies ( TRV ) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 1.1%. Year to date, Travelers Companies has lost about 4.9% of its value.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is International Business Machines ( IBM ), trading down 0.8%. International Business Machines is lower by about 14.6% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are General Electric ( GE ), trading down 0.8%, and Goldman Sachs Group ( GS ), trading up 1.1% on the day.
