In early trading on Thursday, shares of Exxon Mobil ( XOM ) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 0.5%. Year to date, Exxon Mobil registers a 1.3% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Walt Disney ( DIS ), trading down 0.9%. Walt Disney is showing a gain of 9.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Caterpillar ( CAT ), trading down 0.9%, and Chevron ( CVX ), trading up 0.5% on the day.
