In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Chevron ( CVX ) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 2.4%. Year to date, Chevron has lost about 17.6% of its value.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Walt Disney ( DIS ), trading down 0.9%. Walt Disney is showing a gain of 12.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Wal-Mart Stores ( WMT ), trading flat on the day, and Exxon Mobil ( XOM ), trading up 1.7% on the day.
