In early trading on Thursday, shares of Wal-Mart Stores, topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 1.9%. Year to date, Wal-Mart Stores, registers a 10.7% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Cisco Systems, trading down 8.1%. Cisco Systems is showing a gain of 2.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Boeing, trading down 1.8%, and Apple, trading up 1.3% on the day.
