In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Chevron ( CVX ) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 1.4%. Year to date, Chevron has lost about 2.0% of its value.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Apple ( AAPL ), trading down 1.3%. Apple is showing a gain of 15.1% looking at the year to date performance. Two other components making moves today are UnitedHealth Group ( UNH ), trading down 1.2%, and Exxon Mobil ( XOM ), trading up 1.0% on the day.
