Tri-Continental Corporation today declared a third quarter distribution of $0.2614 per share of Common Stock. Dividends on Common Stock will be paid on September 26, 2017 to Common Stockholders of record on September 18, 2017. The ex-dividend date for the Common Stock is September 14, 2017. The $0.2614 per share dividend on the Common Stock is in accordance with the Corporation's earned distribution policy. The Corporation has paid dividends on its common stock for 73 consecutive years.

The board of directors of AbbVie declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.64 per share. The cash dividend is payable Nov. 15, 2017 to stockholders of record at the close of business on Oct. 13, 2017. Since the company's inception in 2013, AbbVie has increased its dividend by 60 percent. AbbVie is a member of the S&P Dividend Aristocrats Index, which tracks companies that have annually increased their dividend for at least 25 consecutive years.

Applied Materials today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per share payable on the company's common stock. The dividend is payable on December 14, 2017 to shareholders of record as of November 24, 2017.

Today, the board of directors of Sempra Energy declared a quarterly dividend of $0.8225 per share of common stock. The current dividend is payable Oct. 15, 2017, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 22, 2017.

Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of US $0.10 per share payable November 1, 2017 to shareholders of record September 29, 2017.
