Coro Mining Holds Oct. 26 Hearing on San Jorge Project, Repeats 'No Harm' Vow For Water Resources

Coro Mining Corp. (COP.TO) was down 0.05 to 0.61 in light volume ahead of the company announcing this afternoon that it held a public hearing earlier this week with residents living near its proposed San Jorge copper-gold project in Uspallata, Argentina.

The hearing - the final step required before a formal environmental impact statement is prepared, drew about 2,000 people, Coro executives said, adding the company is committed to developing San Jorge without damaging any of the region's water resources.
