Continental Gold Gaining After New Drilling Points to Expanding Resource Estimate at Buritica Project in Columbia

Continental Gold Ltd (CNL.TO) is ahead about 3% this morning after saying the first two diamond holes from the company's deep drilling program of the Veta Sur system at its Buritica project in Colombia continue to demonstrate high-grade gold and silver mineralization as deep as 1,180 metres below the surface.

The new drilling extends more than 600 metres below areas in the current resource model and will likely increase the proven and probable levels of precious metals in a new resource estimate by a significant amount.
