Consumer shares were generally unchanged ahead of the opening bell Monday.
Williams-Sonoma, Inc. ( WSM ), a specialty retailer of home products, received an investment-rating upgrade from analysts at Wedbush Morgan to an outperform rating from neutral. Shares were inactive pre-market after closing Friday at $80.46, in a 52-week range between $62.35 and $84.75.
Carnival (CCL, CUK), a cruise company, said Monday it has signed a multi-billion dollar contract with Germany-based Meyer Werft to build four next-generation cruise ships powered by liquefied natural gas. Shares were inactive after closing Friday at $46.91, in a 52-week range between $33.11 and $49.21.
Viggle Inc ( VGGL ), a mobile and web-based entertainment facilitating media company, said it secured $10 million in additional borrowing capacity through a new line of credit grid promissory note with Sillerman Investment Company IV. Shares were trading 5.2% lower at $2.00 during recent pre-market trading . Over the past 52 weeks, the stock has traded between $1.27 and $5.70.
