Consumer shares were generally unchanged ahead of the opening bell Wednesday.
In consumer stocks news, IMAX ( IMAX ), a motion picture film format, Wednesday said it has signed a multi-picture deal with The Walt Disney Studios, a division of The Walt Disney Company ( DIS ), renewing its exhibition agreement with the multinational production company.
Shares in IMAX were unchanged at $35.28 during pre-market trading . Over the past 52 weeks, the company has traded between $24.01 and $36.49.
Meanwhile FedEx ( FDX ) saw its price target boosted to $180 from $169 by RBC Capital while the firm retained its sector perform rating.
Shares in FedEx were up 0.3% at $171.65 during pre-market trading. Over the past 52 weeks, the company has traded between $130.64 and $183.51.
And Mattress Firm Holding ( MFRM ) said late Tuesday that certain stockholders proposed to sell 1,505,000 shares of the company's common stock by certain selling stockholders. The company is not selling any shares in the proposed offering and will not receive any proceeds from the sale.
Shares in the company were unchanged at $67.31 during pre-market trading. Over the past 52 weeks, the company has traded between $41.97 and $71.82.
