LISNR Co-founder and CEO Rodney Williams stopped by the Nasdaq Marketsite recently to talk to us about entrepreneurship, the infinite capabilities of the Internet of Sound, and how LISNR is pioneering the market with ultrasonic audio technology.
This Cincinnati, Ohio-based B2B audio technology company with an ear for disruption is transforming the way audio waves are used to connect and transmit data using inaudible sounds.
Williams and co-founders Chris Ostoich and Josh Glick have enormous plans for the accessibility of LISNR’s services, ranging from domestic use and proximity targeting to the connected car. With additional offices in San Francisco and New York, LINSR is continuing to grow. The company’s powerful technology offers an advantageous alternative to using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and additional hardware.
After earning a spot on the Disruptor 50 list two years in a row, Williams notes that the company has grown more confident with time, and LISNR aims to broaden their market in the future by delivering Internet of Sound to the retail space, sporting arenas, broadcasting stations and the security and authentication space.
