China Shen Zhou Mining Delays 10-K Filing; Shares Hit New 52-Week Trough

China Shen Zhou Mining & Resources, Inc. ( SHZ ) are down 18% at $0.20, but above a new 52-week low of $0.16 touched earlier in the session, after the company announced that it will be unable to file its annual report for the year ended December 31, 2012 on Form 10-K by the extended April 16, 2013 deadline.

The company has been working with great diligence to complete the filing, but will require additional time due to ongoing discussions with the SEC concerning the accounting treatment for certain costs incurred at the company's mines.

Shares have a day top of $0.22, with a 52-week high of $1.50.
