Central Iron Ore Jumps 15% As Announces Sale of Eureka Gold Project

Central Iron Ore Ltd. (CIO.V) was higher by 15% at $0.075, but is trading just about 2 cents above year lows, after announcing today that it has entered into an agreement for the AUD$4 million sale of its Eureka Gold Project to Greenstone Minerals Pty Ltd.

Mr Brett Hodgins, President and CEO, said: "This reinforces CIO's strategy to create and realise value through mineral asset discovery, managing a portfolio of mineral assets, project development de-risking and commercialisation of those assets. This sale allows a focused exploration campaign on our higher priority exploration targets."
