Cascadero Copper Las Cuevas Drill Program Completed
Cascadero Copper's (CCD.V) 50% owned subsidiary Salta Exploraciones SA (Salta), completed a five core hole program totaling 785.4 metres of a planned seven core hole 1,000 metre program on the Discovery Zone at Las Cuevas.
It said the program was shortened due to ground conditions. "Management believes that five completed holes are a representative sample of the Discovery Zone. The five drill core intervals are directly below surface trenches, up to 100 metres in width, that have variable grades of gold and silver. The distance between the furthest south core hole to the furthest north core hole is about 250 metres. Alteration includes limonite, sericite, silica, pyrite and quartz in stock work and veinlets. The style of mineralization is principally mesothermal with minor epithermal textures. The oxidized material in drill core consists of sandstone, siltstone and interbedded shale."
