Canadian wholesale sales rise 0.9% in October

Investing.com - Investing.com - Canadian wholesale sales rose less-than-expected in October, official data showed on Wednesday.

In a report, Statistics Canada said wholesale sales rose by 0.9% in October, just below expectations for a 1% increase.

Wholesale sales fell by 1.5% in September, whose figure was revised from a previously reported decline of 1.4%.

Following the release of the data, the Canadian dollar remained lower against its U.S. counterpart, with USD/CAD adding 0.13% to trade at 0.9869.
