Canadian Natural Resources Q4 EPS Shy of Estimates; Board Sets Quarterly Dividend of $0.125 Per Share

Canadian Natural Resource Ltd ( CNQ ) reported fourth quarter adjusted net earnings of $359 million, or $0.33 per share, compared to consensus estimate of $0.37. Sales for the quarter totaled $4.1 billion. In the prior-year period, adjusted net earnings were $972 million, or $0.88 per share, on sales of $4.8 billion.

The company forecasts 2013 production levels before royalties to average between 1,085 and 1,145 MMcf/d of natural gas and between 482,000 and 513,000 bbl/d of crude oil and NGLs.

The company's Board of Directors also declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common shares of C$0.125 per common share, payable April 1, 2013 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 15, 2013.
