Blue Note Mining, Critical Elements Agree to Extend Closing Date on Croinor Assets

Blue Note Mining Inc. (BNT.V) is up about 5% this afternoon after saying it has extended the term of its binding agreement to acquire all of Critical Elements' (CRE.V) interests in the Croinor gold project near Val-d'Or, Quebec.

Blue Note already has paid $125,000 to Critical Elements and now has until May 31 to make a final payment of $2,250,000 to complete the transaction. Blue Note also will issue 17.5 million common shares, which will be released in equal parts over 35 months following closing.

Critical Element shares are down about 2% today to $0.24 each.
