Aurvista Gold Near Year Lows Even As Step-Out Drilling Demonstrate Expanded Potential on Porphyry Zone Deposit

Aurvista Gold Corp. (AVA.V) is now unchanged at 20 cents, but is trading near year low 17 cents even after announcing today that the results of the step-out drilling on its wholly-owned Douay project demonstrate expanded potential on the Porphyry Zone Deposit.

The company said drill hole DO-11-70, which was testing the extension 200 meters to the East on the "Porphyry Zone" gold deposit as part of the "Phase 1" drill program focused on expanding existing resources on the property, returned a significant gold intercept of 57.0 m at 1.42 g/t Au, including 7.5 m at 6.07 g/t Au.
