Asian ADRs Move Slightly Higher in Friday Trading

American depositary receipts of Asian stocks were trading fractionally higher at 148.78 on the Bank of New York Mellon Asia ADR Index on Friday.

In North Asia, the gainers were led by educational services provider Sunlands ( STG ) and steel company Ossen Innovation ( OSN ), which climbed 17.7% and 8% respectively. They were followed by securities brokerage China Finance Online ( JRJC ) and IT company NetEase ( NTES ), which rose 7.3% and 5.6%.

The decliners in North Asia were led by social network company Mogu Inc. ( MOGU ) and financial technology company 360 Finance (QFIN), which fell 8.4% and 5.7% respectively. They were followed by travel company Tuniu Corp (TOUR) and biopharmaceutical company Hutchison China Meditech (HCM), which lost 5.2% and 3.9%.

Digital entertainment company Sea Limited (SE) led the decliners in South Asia, falling 3.6%, followed by IT company Wipro (WIT) and ICICI Bank (IBN), which were off 2.2% and 1.7%.
