Asian ADRs Move Higher in Tuesday Trading

American depositary receipts of Asian stocks were trading 0.61% higher at 185.06 on the Bank of New York Mellon Asia ADR Index on Tuesday.

In North Asia, the gainers were led by Baozun ( BZUN ), a brand e-commerce solutions company, which surged 22.6%, followed by solar park operator, Sky Solar Holdings Ltd ( SKYS ), online game publisher Gravity ( GRVY ), , and educational services provider Tarena ( TEDU ), which rose 6.8%, 5.2%, and 3.2% respectively.

The decliners in North Asia were led by social networking platform YY Inc. ( YY ), and educational services provider China Online Education (COE), which fell 12.3% and 2.5% respectively. They were followed by online retailer LightInTheBox (LITB), and IT company ChinaCache (CCIH), which were down 2.4% and 1.9%.

In South Asia, the gainers were led by digital entertainment company Sea Limited (SE), which rose 1.0%, followed by IT companies Wipro (WIT), and Infosys (INFY), which were up 0.8% and 0.3% respectively. HDFC Bank (HDB) was up 0.2%.

Satellite TV provider Videocon d2h (VDTH) led the decliners in South Asia, falling 4.9%, followed by ICICI Bank (IBN) which was down 2.4%. Telecommunications provider PLDT (PHI), and natural resources firm Vedanta (VEDL) dropped 0.7% and 0.6% respectively.
