CEO Bio:

Mr. Armes joined Capital Southwest in 2013 and currently serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CSW Industrials, following the Company’s successful spin-off from its parent company, Capital Southwest Corporation. Mr. Armes previously served as the Chief Executive Officer, President of Capital Southwest since June 2013, and as Chairman of the Capital Southwest Board since January 2014. He has over 20 years of experience in mergers, acquisitions, capital markets transactions and private equity. Previously, he served as chief operating officer of Hicks Holdings LLC, where he led the acquisition, management and disposition of a diverse portfolio of private equity investments across a broad spectrum of industries. Previously, he served as executive vice president and general counsel of Suiza Foods Corporation (now Dean Foods Company (NYSE: DF)) and vice president and general counsel of The Morningstar Group Inc., and was associated with the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges. He earned both a BBA (Finance) and MBA from Baylor University, and a JD from Southern Methodist University.
