Africa Hydrocarbons Spuds BHN-1 Well in Tunisia

Africa Hydrocarbons Inc. (NFK.V) has commenced drilling the BHN-1 well on the Bouhajla Permit in Tunisia. The well spudded on June 8, 2013 and is currently drilling surface hole at a depth of approximately 325 metres. BHN-1 is the first exploration well on the Bouhajla Permit, and is planned to be drilled to a total depth of 2,545 metres in order to evaluate a Cretaceous Abiod oil target on the Bouhajla North prospect. The well is expected to take four to six weeks to reach total depth.

The Bouhajla North prospect is geologically analogous to the Sidi el Kilani oilfield, which has produced approximately 48 million barrels of light oil to date. Sidi el Kilani is located twenty-five kilometers to the east of the Bouhajla North prospect.
