Afri-Can Marine Pulls 84 Diamonds Off Seafloor, One Weighing 1.60 Carats

Afri-Can Marine (AFA.V) is given back most of its initial gains but remains up

$0.005 to $0.09 a share after saying that sampling at its explration concession

off the coast of Namibia recovered 84 diamond, including one weighing 1.60 carats and three other weighing between 1.30 to 1.15 carats. Overall, 15% of the diamonds weighed over 0.5 carats.

According to the company, the largest diamond was recovered with two other diamonds weighing respectively 0.55 and 0.10 carats, indicating potential concentration of large diamonds.
