Nasdaq President and CEO Adena Friedman captivated the audience of almost 3,000 financial advisors and other investment professionals at the 2019 Envestnet Advisor Summit in Austin, Texas, earlier this month, covering a wide range of topics, including emerging trends in financial services and the challenges facing today's advisors.
During a fireside chat, Friedman sat down with Envestnet Managing Director Estee Jimerson to speak about how the cloud and machine intelligence are poised to carry the financial services industry forward and how financial planners can utilize these new technologies.
"Great financial planners help you throughout your life; help you to plan out how you are going to get to the next step," said Friedman. "Being really proactive and helping [clients] evolve their investment strategies over time…makes you and your business more persistent."
