Acadian Mining Soars 45% After Drilling Finds Visible Gold, Lengthy Intervals

Acadian Mining Corp (ADA.TO) is up more than 45% this afternoon after the gold prospector said assay results from the first four holes drilled at its Fifteen Mile Stream project in Nova Scotia found grades as high as 2.81 grams gold per ton of ore over 72.9 metres as part of a 106.8-metre interval of 2.03 grams per ton.

Coarse, visable gold was found in another fall although that sample was not included in the new assay results. Overall, Acadian plans to drill 29 holes in this initial phase, intending to identify additional mineralization in untested areas.
