Vanguard Strategic Small-Cap Equity InvestorVSTCX seeks growth of capital over the long run. VSTCX invests the lion's share of its assets in securities of domestic small cap companies that are expected to be undervalued as well as have strong growth prospects. VSTCX seeks to maintain a risk profile similar to the MSCI US Small Cap 1750 Index. The Vanguard Strategic Small-Cap Equity Investor fund has a three-year annualized return of 8.3%.

As of September 2016, VSTCX held 293 issues with 0.83% of its assets invested in Computer Sciences Corp.

Vanguard Value Index InvestorVIVAX invests nearly all its assets in stocks of companies which are included in the CRSP US Large Cap Value Index. VIVAX seeks to replicate the performance of the index by investing a proportion of its assets in each stock as its weighting in the index. The Vanguard Value Index Investor fund has a three-year annualized return of 9.6%.

The Vanguard High Dividend Yield Index Investor fund has a three-year annualized return of 10.3%.

VHDYX has an expense ratio of 0.15% compared with the category average of 1.07%.

Vanguard Capital Opportunity InvestorVHCOX invests heavily in securities of domestic stocks that are expected to provide strong future earnings growth prospects. Though VHCOX invests in securities of companies irrespective of their market capitalizations, it may focus on acquiring mid-cap securities. VHCOX invests in stocks that have the potential to outpace the broader markets over a three- to five-year time frame and are also available at discounted prices. The Vanguard Capital Opportunity Investor fund has a three-year annualized return of 10.5%.

As of September 2016, VHCOX held 136 issues with 5.97% of its assets invested in Biogen Inc.
