Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: RYE

The Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight Energy ETF ( RYE ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 1.1 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 72,000. Shares of RYE were down about 1.4% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Devon Energy ( DVN ), trading off about 3.1% with over 11.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Marathon Oil ( MRO ), down about 3.4% on volume of over 5.5 million shares. Williams Companies ( WMB ) is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 0.6% on the day, while Anadarko Petroleum ( APC ) is lagging other components of the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight Energy ETF, trading lower by about 5.1%.
