Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: IUSG

The iShares Core U.S. Growth ETF ( IUSG ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 750,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 56,000. Shares of IUSG were up about 0.5% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Twitter ( TWTR ), trading up about 5.4% with over 37.6 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Sirius XM Holdings ( SIRI ), up about 1% on volume of over 31.6 million shares. Aegerion Pharmaceuticals ( AEGR ) is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 31.2% on the day, while Carbylan Therapeutics ( CBYL ) is lagging other components of the iShares Core U.S. Growth ETF, trading lower by about 24.5%.
