Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: GWL

The SPDR S&P World ex-US ETF ( GWL ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 1.3 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 168,000. Shares of GWL were off about 0.4% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Eldorado Gold (ELD.CA), trading up about 4% with over 6.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Magna International (MG.CA), up about 6.1% on volume of over 3.8 million shares. Shaw Comm (SJR.B.CA) is the component faring the best Wednesday, up by about 7.7% on the day, while Pengrowth Energy (PGF.CA) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P World ex-US ETF, trading lower by about 4.5%.
