Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: FNI

The First Trust Chindia ETF ( FNI ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 267,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 43,000. Shares of FNI were up about 2.7% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Alibaba Group Holding ( BABA ), trading up about 3.2% with over 13.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and JD.com ( JD ), up about 3.4% on volume of over 10.3 million shares. Yum China Holdings ( YUMC ) is the component faring the best Wednesday, up by about 14.8% on the day, while Vedanta ( VEDL ) is lagging other components of the First Trust Chindia ETF, trading lower by about 3.3%.
