TSX opens higher on energy boost

June 13 (Reuters) - Gains in the energy sector pushed Canada's main stock index higher on Thursday after crude prices jumped more than 4% following a suspected tanker attack near Iran.

* At 9:32 a.m. ET (13:32 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange'sS&P/TSX composite index was up 24.43 points, or 0.15%, at 16,251.67.
