Thursday's ETF with Unusual Volume: SPTM

The SPDR Portfolio Total Stock Market ETF ( SPTM ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 10.0 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 481,000. Shares of SPTM were off about 0.9% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Bank of America ( BAC ), trading up about 1.8% with over 53.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ), down about 2.8% on volume of over 40.2 million shares. Channeladvisor ( ECOM ) is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 19.2% on the day, while Aceto ( ACET ) is lagging other components of the SPDR Portfolio Total Stock Market ETF, trading lower by about 62.5%.
