The FANGS are Surging Again

(New York)

Amazon has just reached another technically insignificant, but mentally noteworthy milestone-its shares cost $1,000. The stock has been surging recently, as have its fellow FANGs-Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, and Google-as the tech industry has rearisen to a leadership position in the market. The group has taken over from the Trump Trade to push the market higher, with the FANGs rising between 25 and 33% this year. Some are worried that the shares' valuations are getting too lofty and that the trades are very crowded.

FINSUM : Yes these are rich valuations, but the the big difference compared to the Dotcom era is that these are now huge and profitable companies.
