Telephone & Data Systems Inc. TDS was a big mover last session with its shares rising just over 6% on the day. The upside came on the announcement that OneNeck IT Solutions' latest service - OneNeck Connect - will now provide a Array Gbps pipe into the company's Tier 3+ data center in Denver, CO. OneNeck IT Solutions is the wholly owned subsidiary of Telephone & Data Systems. This development led to far more shares changing hands yesterday than in a normal session. The move breaks the recent trend of the company as the stock is now trading above the volatile price range of $22.58 to $23.88 since Feb 8.

This telecommunications company has seen no estimate revision in the last 30 days. The Zacks Consensus Estimate has also remained unchanged over the same period. Yesterday's rally is encouraging though, so make sure to keep a close watch on this firm in the near future.

Telephone & Data Systems currently has a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).

Investors interested in the broader telecom sector may consider CenturyLink, Inc. CTL , which holds a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).
