Papa John's International (PZZA) Is Rising After Founder Resigns As Chairman

(RTTNews.com) - Papa John's International ( PZZA ) announced after the close Wednesday that the resignation of John Schnatter as Chairman of the Board has been accepted. Schnatter apologized Wednesday for using the N-word during a conference call in May.

Papa John's gapped open higher Thursday morning and has continued to rise in early trade. The stock is now up 4.15 at $52.48 and has set a 2-week high.
