Oxford Lane Capital Reports Improved Net Investment Income for Q4 Vs. Year Ago; Net Asset Value Declines Year Over Year

Oxford Lane Capital ( OXLC ) fell in Thursday's afternoon trade after reporting that for Q4, net investment income improved from the prior-year period, even as its net asset value per share declined year over year.

Shares are down 8% at $8.79, with a 52-week range of $5.70 - $16.07.

The non-diversified, closed-end management investment company said that for the quarter ended March 31, its net investment income was $6.6 million, or $0.36 per share, compared with the prior-year period's $6.6 million or $0.41 per share. Core net investment income was $13.0 million, or $0.71 per share.

Net asset value per share as of March 31, was $7.04, compared with $14.08 per share in the same quarter the prior year.
