No Delays for iPhone 8

(San Francisco)

There has not been this much hype about a new iPhone model in years. The model, which will be the tenth anniversary edition, is expected to turn around sliding iPhone sales. However, one of the big risks is that Apple may face production delays and not be able to capitalize on demand. That said, new word from suppliers in Asia indicates that the chances for a delayed launch are "limited". The new model is supposed to support augmented reality functions, which could be a major selling point, but will be a challenge for production. However, Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty went to Asia to speak to suppliers and came back feeling confident that a September/October rollout for the iPhone should be completely feasible.
