Moog Q4 Results Top Street View

Moog ( MOG.A ), an aerospace contract, reported higher-than-expected earnings and sales for its fiscal Q4.

Earnings increased to $1.07 per diluted share, in the three months ended Sept. 30, from $0.92 a year ago. That surpassed the $0.95 average estimate of analysts surveyed by Capital IQ.

Fiscal Q4 sales increased to $649.3 million, from $619.1 million. Analysts had projected revenue to drop to $616.7 million.

Moog expects FY18 EPS to be $3.90 to $4.30. Analysts had forecast EPS of $4.09.
