Moog Beats Estimate For Fiscal Q3 Revenues; Earnings Narrowly Miss

Aerospace and defense company Moog ( MOG.A ) said early Friday that its fiscal Q3 diluted EPS increased to $1.13 from $1.11 a year ago, narrowly missing the $1.14 estimate from analysts polled by CapIQ.

Sales rose to $692 million, beating the CapIQ mean of $683.1 million,

Moog upgraded its guidance for the full fiscal year, estimating revenues at $2.7 billion and diluted EPS at about $4.42.

Moog previously pegged the fiscal year's revenues at $2.62 billion and diluted EPS at about $4.10.

Street estimates are for 2018 adjusted EPS of $4.41 on revenue of $2.69 billion.
