Monday's ETF with Unusual Volume: MDYG

The SPDR S&P 400 Mid Cap Growth ETF ( MDYG ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 558,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 26,000. Shares of MDYG were off about 0.1% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were KB Home ( KBH ), trading off about 4.9% with over 2.8 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Cypress Semiconductor ( CY ), up about 0.4% on volume of over 2.5 million shares. Acxiom ( ACXM ) is the component faring the best Monday, higher by about 13.1% on the day, while Core Laboratories ( CLB ) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P 400 Mid Cap Growth ETF, trading lower by about 11.8%.
