Monday's ETF with Unusual Volume: FNX

The First Trust Mid Cap Core AlphaDEX Fund ETF ( FNX ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 242,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 42,000. Shares of FNX were down about 1% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were Chesapeake Energy ( CHK ), trading up about 3% with over 13.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Range Resources ( RRC ), up about 3.1% on volume of over 6.1 million shares. Sabra Health Care REIT ( SBRA ) is the component faring the best Monday, higher by about 3.5% on the day, while First Cash ( FCFS ) is lagging other components of the First Trust Mid Cap Core AlphaDEX Fund ETF, trading lower by about 58.4%.
