Microsoft Rebounding After Macquarie Upgrades To Outperform

(RTTNews.com) - Shares of Microsoft Corp. ( MSFT ) are seeing notable strength in afternoon trading on Friday after moving sharply lower over the past several sessions. After ending the previous session at its lowest closing level in over two months, Microsoft is currently up by 1.8 percent.

The rebound by Microsoft comes after Macquarie Research upgraded its rating on the software giant's stock to Outperform from Neutral.

Macquarie analyst Sarah Hindlian noted Microsoft has had two consecutive "robust" earnings reports and said there's reason to believe the momentum can continue.
