KLM signs preliminary deal for 15 Embraer E195-E2 planes


LE BOURGET, France, June 19 (Reuters) - Brazilian planemaker Embraer SA said on Wednesday that Dutch airline KLM had signed a letter of intent to buy 15 of its E195-E2 planes and taken out options to potentially buy another 20.

The deal was announced by Embraer, whose commercial aircraft operation is in the process of being acquired by Boeing at the Paris Airshow.

The first plane is expected to be delivered in 2021, KLM Cityhopper said.
