JPMorgan Chase & Co. Announces Increase In Q2 Profit

(RTTNews.com) - JPMorgan Chase & Co. ( JPM ) revealed a profit for its second quarter that climbed from last year.

The company's bottom line came in at $8.32 billion, or $2.29 per share. This compares with $7.03 billion, or $1.82

	 per share, in last year's 

second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $2.22 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 6.5% to $28.39 billion from $26.66 billion last year.
