Italy Oct retail sales gain 0.1 pct m/m

Dec 7 (Reuters) - Italian retail sales rose a seasonally adjusted 0.1 percent in October from the previous month after falling 0.8 percent in September, data showed on Friday.

Retail sales gained 1.5 percent versus October of last year, national statistics office ISTAT said.

The data are expressed in value terms and are not adjusted for consumer price inflation, which rose 1.6 percent on the year in October, based on the main domestic NIC index.
